Well, I’d say today went pretty well. From a few last arrivals in the mail to creating meals, I’d say this project is about 75% complete. I need a few more breakfast additions to 3 boxes and will follow up with essential toiletry items for all 14 boxes. They are labeled for their anticipated destinations. Feeling good about it!!!! Just want to give a little public mention to someone who has continued to be a huge part of all these crazy preparations. None of this wouldn’t be possible without the endless support of my good friend KB. I know I’ve dragged you through hikes and travels where we both felt a little bit out of our comfort zone, but you’ve always believed in me and my abilities even when I didn’t. The laughter can only continue from here.

You have taught me so much about it all but most importantly you shared your love and passion for it! I still think your nuts for getting the dehydrated beans and guacamole.
This has been such a journey thus far and I can’t belive you trust me enough to send those boxes to the right place at the right time..
23 days till you kick dirt and make all those new friends and memories..

Glad there is someone else out there that takes out out in the wilderness and out of your comfort zone…I just wonder how many times you’ve called her a B* in the process 😉 I’m super stoked for you and can’t wait to follow your adventure as it unfolds and of course seeing you when you are in my area!

I love you guys! Thanks for all the words of encouragement! I know in reality I’ll be out there solo but knowing I have friends and family that are cheering me on daily reminds me how special our time together has been. I’m sooooo looking forward to this journey.
